Gridley Lions Bikes, Birds and Stroll
Annual event held at Gray Lodge Preserve. Starts at 8:30 am with a bike or walking tour of the preserve including nature, interpretations of birds and wildlife.

Quota Salad Luncheon
The first Friday of May, Quota hold their annual Salad Luncheon fundraiser in Gridley. Fabulous salad lunch featuring some 30 different salads and desserts.
Unjustice Court
Sponsored by the Gridley Area Chamber of Commerce. This is a fun day to have your friends in Gridley put in jail. Jail time consists of having something to eat and drink. Each inmate must find someone to bail them out of jail for a fee. Warrants and bail certificates may be purchased at the Chamber Office for a nominal fee.

Red Suspenders Day
Gridley Red Suspenders Day Parade is held on the third Saturday in May each year honoring our volunteer fire fighters for all they do during the year. The day starts with a pancake breakfast, bed races, arts, crafts and food vendors, car show, firefighters games, live and entertainment, a parade, and other events. Thousands of people attend this annual event from all over Northern California. Sponsored by the Gridley Area Chamber of Commerce.

Nor-Cal Cluster Dog Show
Staged at the beautiful Butte County Fair Grounds, this 3 to 4 event consists of several kennel clubs coming together for this event. This all breed show brings dogs, their handlers and vendors of pet supplies from all over the United States and Canada.

Ice-Cream Social
Biggs Gridley Memorial Hospital Pink Ladies Annual fund raiser. Held on the front lawn at 240 Spruce Street, Gridley, the first Thursday of August each year in the evening.
Butte County Fair
Five days of old fashioned family style country fair, held at the fairgrounds with its 36 tree shaded acres. Music, rodeo, Miss and Missette Butte County Contest, crafts, live stock exhibits and auctions are all part of the fun. There is also a carnival midway for family fun.

National Night Out
First Tuesday of the month. This is a community safety event with activities in the neighborhoods of Gridley. Sponsored by the Gridley Police, Fire and Recreation Departments.

Quota Wine Tasting/Silent Auction
Wines and hors d'oeuvres with a silent auction is the largest fundraiser the Gridley Quota Club holds. All proceeds are used to continue their donations for Women and Children in the area.
Gridley Rec Department Halloween Carnival
Halloween carnival is held for the community children. Games, fun and treats are offered for the children under 12 years of age.
December
Community Christmas Tree Lighting
A tree lighting service is held at the Biggs Gridley Memorial Hospital. Guest speakers, music and refreshments are offered along with the beginning of the Holiday Season. Everyone is invited to attend.
Christmas Light Parade
Gridley Christmas Parade of LightsThe first Thursday of December Gridley has a parade of lights. This evening parade, with all entries decorated with lights, kicks of the Christmas shopping season. Sidewalk sales and refreshments are offered by local merchants with the high-light of the evening being the appearance of Santa Claus. Sponsored by the Gridley Area Chamber of Commerce.
