    CHAMBER BUSINESS BREAKFAST

    Due to the July 4th week, this month there will be NO breakfast meeting.

    Next business meeting will be August 6th for a Business luncheon. Time and place to be announced later.

    BIGGS ANNUAL 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION

    The City of Biggs 6th Annual All American Hometown Celebration.

    4th of July Event Schedule
    7 am— Biggs Lions club Pancake Breakfast
    8 am— Vendor Booths Open until 2 PM
    10 am— Parade down historical ‘B’ Street followed by the Gridley Cruisers Car Show in Cork Oak Park
    12 PM— Live Music provided by Brian Basset, good food, Story Time with MoJo the Monkey from Noah’s Ark and the Noah’s Ark ‘Stuff N Fluff’ Animal Workshop fundraiser -
    FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
    7 PM— Evening begins with more Live music by Legend, a drawing for great gifts, special guests and an end to a perfect day…FIREWORKS!!!        
    ($1.00 donation per person at the gate)

    Will be held on September 27, 2008—9 am to 2 PM at the BGMH Family Care Center on Spruce St.

    The Chamber is looking for Sponsors and Business vendors.  Cost  of Vendor space is $40 for Chamber Members and $50 for non chamber members.

    Plan now to showcase your business—show our community what your business has to offer!

    I hope all of you have some time to enjoy the long summer days. Chamber staff will be busy for the rest of the summer and early fall months.

    Chamber has Carnival Tickets to be sold as a fund raiser for the Chamber. With the help of some of the Chamber
    Members we should raise $2,000 to $3,000. The Chamber always appreciates the help of these members. This will help with other events the chamber is involved with such as the Chamber Booth at the Butte County Fair. Then the 1st Annual ‘Shop Local’ Try Gridley First—Business Festival.

    The Christmas tree lighting and parade will come on the heels of the above events. We will be busy!
