Gridley Area Chamber of Commerce
The Gridley Area Chamber of Commerce was established to promote the civic interests and general welfare of Gridley.
The Chamber is committed to develop, encourage, promote and protect the commercial, industrial, agricultural, professional, financial and general interest of Gridley.
Ongoing Chamber Activities:
- Welcomes new businesses to Gridley.
- Develops and supplies literature to residents, visitors and businesses.
- Hosts Ribbon Cuttings, Open Houses, Mixers and Meetings for the Businesses. Provides special speakers and timely programs.
- Promotes Tourism, coordinates with Butte County promotion efforts.
- Maintains a community calendar of events, listing of service organizations and churches and helps to promote their events.
- Provides literature, speakers and assistance to small businesses.
- Promotes the area attractions, events at the fairground, Gray Lodge and the McCutcheon Memorial.
- Provides welcome packages to visiting groups.

- Red Suspenders Day
- Business Promotion Booth at the Butte County Fair
- Community Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
- Pioneer Christmas Parade of Lights
Special Chamber Projects:
- The Chamber hosts community forums on timely issues.
- The Chamber works with the Gridley Business Improvement District which continues to expand upon the existing work of the Chamber in areas such as; beautification, business recruitment & retention, shop local, marketing, etc.
- The Chamber will take an active role in the Gridley Museum.
